About the position:

We are on the hunt for someone that is passionate about building and growing our sales team and company revenue! As a team of 12, we pride ourselves on working hard - most of us wear multiple hats, and enjoy taking on new challenges. The unknown is exhilarating, rather than terrifying. Asking for help is common, and a thirst for learning is expected. That being said, we appreciate that our team has a life outside of the company, and are conscious of our workloads and schedules. Want to work from a cruise ship? Prefer working from your home office? Like wearing pajamas to work every day? Need a break mid-day to recharge? If your work is getting done, great! We’re all adults, and like having the autonomy to work in the way that works best for ourselves, whatever that means. As long as you have a stable internet connection, and a drive to do your best work, that’s all that’s required!

While we are fully remote, we do ask that applicants are willing and able to work during standard North American business hours. While there is flexibility in exact working hours, there is an expectation to be able to regularly attend team meetings and your working hours should largely overlap with our team’s (Pacific Standard Time).

About you:

  • You are self-managed, know how to prioritize, meet deadlines and define deliverables.
  • You can effectively communicate and present your design thinking to teams and stakeholders
  • You have previous experience as a senior sales leader focused on SaaS in growth-stage startup environments
  • You have a track record of trying and learning new things
  • You have experience selling HR software (or a strong desire and drive to break into the market)
  • You’ve got great communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • You have at least five years of upper level Sales/Sales Management experience


Some of your high-level objectives will be:

  • Establishing a strategic direction for growing the business
  • Managing the sales team to ensure that revenue and growth targets are attained
  • Achieving sales goals
  • Building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing sales team capable of selling effectively
  • Building and managing accurate sales forecasts
  • Monitoring customer, market, and competitor activity and providing feedback to the company leadership team and other functional areas
  • Working closely with the marketing and product management functions to establish and execute successful marketing and lead generation programs
  • Managing effective processes for business and sales planning, sales compensation, territory planning, and account planning
  • Maintaining impeccable sales data quality in our CRM for tracking leads and opportunities
  • Generating regular reports and forecasts for the CEO and the Board
